Great Dash Cam

The dash cam is great. It comes with everything you need to get it up and running. Image quality is top tier and the RADAR parking mode hasn’t failed me. My only problem was with the SD card being on the smaller side (SD cards are cheap nowadays so not a huge issue) and the cable that powers the rear camera being too thick. It took a bit more effort to route that cable to the rear windshield.

Disappointed, will replace

The connected app never connects, never updates the route or the video files and the link app needs several attempts to connect which basically means I payed a lot of money for a dash cam that requires putting the SD card into a pc simply to view a file. Also the link app compresses the image horizontally making viewing difficult.

U3000 Review

The camera itself is great but the fact that the Thinkware Connected App requires a convoluted process to register and pair with a hotspot is suboptimal.
This caveat was not properly explained neither by tech support nor mentioned upfront on the website.
Thinkware needs to improve the user experience/functionality with this app.
