Stay connected to your dash cam power supply by pairing the Ultra Battery with the BlackVue App for convenient, real-time wireless monitoring. The app displays detailed information including:

  • Battery Voltage and Charge Level: Get ongoing updates about the charge percentage and charging status.
  • Estimated Charging Time: Know exactly how long before your battery is fully charged.
  • Remaining Parking Mode Time: Depending on your dash cam’s power consumption, the app calculates and displays the available Parking Mode time.
  • Battery Temperature: Keep an eye on operating temperatures to ensure optimal performance.

Fast Charging While You Drive

The BlackVue Ultra Battery (B-130A) is designed to charge efficiently while you drive. Here’s how it works:

  • Fast Charging: The battery is capable of recharging fully in as little as 50 minutes with the hardwired installation (9A current).
  • Cigarette Lighter Plug Charging: For convenience, use the cigarette lighter plug to charge with a 5A current in approximately 90 minutes.

While your vehicle’s ignition is on, the battery charges. Once the ignition is off, the fully charged battery powers your dash cam effortlessly during Parking Mode, ensuring uninterrupted surveillance of your vehicle.

Flexible Charging Options for the BlackVue Ultra Battery

The Ultra Battery offers two hassle-free ways to keep power flowing to your dash cam:

  • Cigarette Lighter Plug: Plug into your vehicle’s auxiliary power outlet to enjoy a quick and straightforward installation. Charging through this method takes approximately 90 minutes with a 5A current. Ideal if you prefer a tool-free setup.
  • Hardwired Installation: Use the included hardwiring cable to connect the battery directly to your vehicle’s fuse panel. This method ups the charging current to 9A, reducing the charging time to just 50 minutes.

With its USB-A power output (5V, 2A max), the Ultra Battery can also power additional accessories, such as a smartphone or Wi-Fi hotspot, making it easier to keep your Cloud-connected dash cam online.

NOT Compatible with Expansion Battery

This cannot be used with the BlackVue Power Magic Ultra Battery Expansion Pack B-124E or the Cellink NEO Extended Battery Pack. There are currently no expansion options available. Note that the 12V cigarette lighter may not be compatible with all vehicles due to insufficient power draw.

In cases like these, we recommend using the hardwiring cable instead. If you would like to use an expansion battery, do consider the PowerCell 8 battery.

Compatibility

The spliced output cable for BlackVue X and X Plus Series is not compatible with the DR750X-2CH LTE and the DR750X-2CH LTE Plus models). Consider using a Power Output Cable w/ Socket if you're using an older BlackVue model.
