Which Add-A-Fuse option should I choose?
Choose 2 of Each if you are hardwiring a dash cam directly to the fuse box. Choose 1 of Each if you are hardwiring a dash cam battery pack. Choose Micro 3 only if you confirmed your vehicle uses Micro 3 blade fuses.
Are the standard Add-A-Fuse kits 20A?
Yes. The standard Low Profile, Mini, Micro2, and ATO Add-A-Fuse options include 20A fuses.
Why would a dash cam hardwire kit need two add-a-fuses?
Many parking mode hardwire kits use one constant-power connection and one ACC/ignition-switched connection. That is why the dash cam option includes two of each standard fuse tap style.
Why does a battery pack option only need one of each?
Most dash cam battery pack hardwire installs use one ignition-switched source to charge the battery pack while the vehicle is running.
Does this include install tools?
No. This product is the fuse tap kit only. For the circuit tester, trim tool, zip ties, decals, and add-a-fuses together, choose the Essential BlackboxMyCar Install Package.
