VIOFO Replacement Mounts, Cables & Accessories

Replace a worn mount, set up a second vehicle or reconnect a VIOFO camera with the correct accessory. Choose from GPS and non-GPS mounts, rear-camera cables, cigarette-lighter power adapters and self-adhesive cable clips.

The option guide below explains what each part does. The camera and any other accessories shown are separate purchases; this listing is not a complete dash cam kit.

Choose the correct camera mount

The A129 front GPS mount fits A129 Duo, A129 Duo IR, A129 Pro Duo and A129 Plus Duo front cameras. The separate A119 V3 GPS mount is marked “V3 GPS” and is made for that model. GPS mounts can record speed and location data when GPS logging is enabled; they are not remote vehicle trackers.

The A119 non-GPS option holds the camera without adding GPS reception. Match its attachment shape to the original A119 mount. The A129 rear mount is for the normal rear camera used with A129 Duo, Pro Duo and Plus Duo, not the infrared interior camera.

For an adhesive installation, clean grease and residue from the mounting surface before applying the pad. Check the camera view and cable route first. A second matching mount can make it easier to move the camera between vehicles.

Rear cables must match the camera family

The A129 Plus rear camera uses its own cable. Although both A129 cable types have mini-USB-shaped connectors, the Plus cable is not interchangeable with the A129 Duo/Pro version. Read the full option name and the labels on your existing cable.

The A129 Plus cable offered here connects the compatible front and rear cameras. It is not a power cable for the cigarette-lighter socket, and it does not add a rear-camera connection to an A119 single-channel camera.

The rear-camera cables listed here are 6m long, approximately 20ft. Measure the installed route, including bends around the headliner and tailgate. VIOFO advises against manually extending these cables. Match the exact camera model and connector before ordering.

Power the camera and secure the wiring

The mini-USB cigarette-lighter option includes a socket adapter and cable for compatible older VIOFO cameras, such as the A119 V3 and A129 Duo. It is a different connection from the USB-C option. A129 Plus and A129 Pro require the appropriate charger output; do not choose a charger by plug shape alone.

The USB-C adapter and cable option is offered for A229 Plus, A229 Pro, T130 and A139. Plug the adapter into the vehicle socket and the cable into the camera’s designated power port. A USB-C rear-camera cable and a USB-C power cable are not interchangeable.

A cigarette-lighter adapter is not an ACC hardwire kit. For supported parking-mode installations, compare the HK3 mini-USB hardwire kit for A119 V3/A129 models or the HK4 USB-C hardwire kit for its listed USB-C models. Cable clips are sold as a pack of five and hold the routed wire in place; keep the route clear of airbags, moving parts and sharp edges.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does one order include every accessory shown?

No. Choose one option in the selector. You receive that mount, cable, adapter-and-cable set or five-clip pack. Photos show the range of parts available.

Which cameras fit the A129 front GPS mount?

The A129 Duo, A129 Duo IR, A129 Pro Duo and A129 Plus Duo front cameras use this mount. It is not an A119, A139 or A229 mount.

Can I use the A129 GPS mount on an A119 V3?

No. Choose the A119 V3 GPS mount marked “V3 GPS.” VIOFO also distinguishes the older A119 V2 GPS mount from the V3 version.

What does the non-GPS mount do?

It secures the compatible A119 camera but does not receive GPS signals or add speed and location logging. Check the original mount shape before ordering; an A119 Mini or A119M Pro is a different camera family.

Will the A129 rear mount fit an infrared interior camera?

No. This is the normal rear-camera mount for A129 Duo, Pro Duo and Plus Duo. VIOFO uses a different mount for the IR interior camera.

Are A129 Plus and A129 Duo/Pro rear cables interchangeable?

No. The Plus cable is a separate part despite the similar mini-USB connectors. Match the complete camera model, not just “A129” in the name.

Can I use the rear cable as a USB power cable?

No. The rear cable carries the connection between the front and rear cameras. Power the front camera through its designated power input with the correct adapter or hardwire kit.

Can I extend or splice the rear-camera cable?

VIOFO advises against manually extending it. Use a complete model-specific cable of the required length, and check the route before hiding it behind trim.

What is different about the A139 rear cable?

A139 cameras use a different coaxial cable. The A129 Plus cable offered in this US listing does not fit that connection.

Is the USB-C power option suitable for every USB-C dash cam?

No. Use the models named in the option and the camera’s power specifications. A matching connector does not establish the required output, cable wiring or compatibility.

Does a cigarette-lighter adapter provide parking-mode control?

It does not provide the separate ACC signal used by a three-wire hardwire installation. If the socket switches off with the vehicle, the camera loses power. Choose the correct hardwire kit or supported battery setup for the camera’s parking mode.

How many cable clips are included?

The cable-clip option contains five self-adhesive clips. Clean the attachment surfaces and secure the wire without pinching it or obstructing airbags.

Does a GPS mount let me track the car remotely?

No. These GPS mounts supply location and speed information to the camera’s recordings. They do not add cellular service, Cloud access or live remote tracking.

Why is the recorded time wrong after installing a GPS mount?

Set the correct time zone and daylight-saving setting, enable GPS and allow it to synchronize. VIOFO’s current support guide explains the process. With a non-GPS mount, set the time manually.

What should I send if I am unsure which part fits?

Send our team the full dash cam model and clear photos of the existing mount or cable connectors. For a cable, include the required routed length. This is especially useful when an older camera revision uses a different connector.

How long are the rear-camera cables?

The rear-camera cable options in this listing are 6m long, approximately 20ft. This length applies to the rear cables, not the separate power-adapter options. Choose the cable for your exact camera model.
