Thinkware Q800PRO 2K QHD Dash Cam
Capture Everything from the Ordinary to the Spectacular
Advanced optical lens and an improved 5.14MP Sony STARVIS image sensor delivers strikingly clear video quality in 2K QHD @30FPS - you get sharper, higher quality video with key details like number plates being easier to see than with an HD camera. 140-degree viewing angle offers wide shooting coverage with minimal edge-to-edge distortion and Super Night Vision 2.0 technology reduces noise and enhances image quality in low-light conditions.
Award-winning Design with Rotating Camera
The Thinkware Q800PRO diverges from the dash cam norm by not including any form of screen or display. It is has more subtle design than most dash cams, hugging the windshield and fitting neatly below or behind the rear view mirror. Because it lacks a LCD display, the control available with the device itself is minimal - everything is controlled using the free smartphone app.
The camera housing is able to rotate approximately 90 degrees vertically, giving you the best view of the road, no matter the windshield angle and vehicle design.
Keeps Watch When You're Away
Energy Saving Parking Mode 2.0 takes energy saving efficiency to the next level. It uses ultra-low power, reducing power consumption by 1/3 less and giving you 3x longer video recording than typical parking mode, whether it is motion or impact detection. Buffered recording even includes the few seconds before and after the triggered event, so you get the complete picture.
When you own a Thinkware dash cam, you're in safe hands knowing your car is protected. Hit-and-run, accidents, insurance fraud? No problem - always be in the know with Thinkware.

Installed my second unit, both with the IROAD OBD-II Power Cable which makes installation easy (Ford Edge and MB E-350). No wires to splice, just plug and play. The Q800PRO works great. Delivery was fast from BC.
Website well designed. Full of info to learn and choose. A good selection of camera options for every need without burdening with excessive options. Good install guides
I have Blackvue 4K in one of my vehicle, thinking to give Q800Pro a try on my other vehicle to see the difference. Install seems a little easier, and the video quality during daytime is almost par with Blackvue. If i have to find the difference, it will be only the night time footage is not as crisp as Blackvue, but it's comparing 4K vs 2K so its not a fair game. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and the product itself.
