I love these Startags for tracking my valuables. They are easy to hide unlike the AirTags that have the chrome mirror finish on one side. I use these on my E Bike and they are almost impossible to detect. They work amazingly well with the “Find My” app on my iPhone. They will play a sound or notify me when they show up in range. The peace of mind they give you is worth the price all day long. If you want to keep track of something they might end up going missing or missing this is for you. I’m going to stick one in my golf clubs too.

We use trackers to keep track of a fleet of small boats on a small private lake, so we know where they are and/or if a guest is lost. This tracker is a great addition to our collections. It is waterproof, which is helpful being on a boat in case it gets splashed. It is very easy to connect - just turn it on, turn on the Find My app on the iPhone, select other item, and it finds it almost instantly. Then you can name the tracker and assign an icon if desired, and you're good to go. These would also work great for luggage, purses, pets, keys, or other things that are easy to lose track of. This works exactly as expected.
I bought these to use in two situations. One was to place a tracker in my car for security. The second was to bring along on a long distance trip which included a plane trip. They were easy to set up, register, and work perfectly with Apple's find my system.
My car is now tracked, and I can easily find it with my phone if I need to. When I went on holiday, I brought two along and dropped one in my luggage and was able to track it while waiting for it to come down the conveyer after we landed. As well, I was able to keep track of it when it was in the hotel room. On a few occasions, I gave one of the trackers to a member of our party at an amusement park when we split up so we could keep track of their location. They had a phone but it offered us extra peace of mind knowing we could find them if we needed to or their phone was dead. It worked flawlessly.
Half the price of apple airtags and worked just as well.
