BlackVue Replacement Camera Mounts

Replace a lost or damaged BlackVue bracket without replacing the camera. Choose M-90S, M-75S1, M-45 or the rear M-75 option to match the camera and mounting position. The model guide below separates the front brackets from the smaller rear mount.

M-90S: standard DR900 and DR970X front cameras

The M-90S fits standard DR900S, DR900X, DR900X Plus and original DR970X front cameras. It is the older basic bracket, not the taller M-9P supplied for DR970X Plus. A camera fitting inside a bracket does not prove that its lens will clear your windshield.

DR970X Plus lenses can sit too close to more upright glass in the older mount. Use the correct dedicated bracket when clearance is uncertain. This option does not cover DR970X LTE, Box or Elite front housings.

M-75S1: standard DR750 and DR770X front cameras

Select M-75S1 for standard DR750S, DR750X, DR750X Plus and DR770X front cameras.

Built-in LTE and some Truck configurations use a different front bracket. Match the complete model name, including its suffix. If your existing bracket is sound and only the adhesive needs replacing, BlackVue replacement mounting tape may be all you need.

M-45 and the separate rear-mount option

The M-45 is the smaller front bracket for DR590, DR590W, DR590X and DR590X Plus cameras, including the DR590X Plus 1CH. It is not a substitute for the larger DR650 or DR900-series front bracket.

The rear M-75 option, called RM-75 in BlackVue’s compatibility table, is for compatible standard rear cameras from the DR590, DR750, DR900, DR770X and DR970X families. It is not a second front mount, an Elite rear bracket, a Box bracket or an external waterproof Truck-camera mount.

Test the camera fit and release before attaching the bracket to clean, dry glass. The BlackboxMyCar Windshield Cleaning Kit can help reach the mounting area; use a suitable residue-free surface preparation method and check tinted film first. Set the recording angle with the camera’s live view, then confirm the camera and bracket stay secure.

Which front mount should I order?

Use M-90S for the listed standard DR900/original DR970X models, M-75S1 for the listed standard DR750/DR770X models, or M-45 for DR590-series models. Check the full model name before ordering.

Is M-90S the correct factory bracket for DR970X Plus?

The dedicated DR970X Plus bracket is the taller M-9P. The older M-90S may let the larger lens touch more upright windshields. Do not assume fit inside the ring guarantees usable lens clearance.

Is the rear M-75 the same as the front M-75S1?

No. M-75S1 is a front bracket. The rear M-75 option corresponds to the smaller RM-75 rear mount listed by BlackVue.

Will these brackets fit an Elite, LTE or Box model?

Those housings use dedicated brackets. None of the listed options should be selected as a universal substitute for Elite, LTE or Box mounts.

Does one order include front and rear mounts?

No. This listing supplies one selected bracket. Some gallery pictures show multiple brackets for comparison; a complete manufacturer Mount Kit is a different package.

Can I buy only the adhesive?

Yes. If the bracket and release are still in good condition, choose compatible replacement mounting tape rather than replacing the whole bracket.

Will the rear mount hold an external Truck camera?

No. Waterproof external cameras use a different mounting arrangement. Match the exact rear camera model and its installation hardware.

How do I check the replacement before sticking it down?

Test that the camera fits, locks and releases correctly. Check lens clearance and cable access, prepare the glass, then set the angle using live view. Recheck the attachment before driving.

What warranty coverage applies?

This accessory has a two-year BlackVue manufacturer warranty, which BlackboxMyCar honors. Our default retailer coverage is six months unless otherwise stated; it does not shorten this product’s two-year manufacturer coverage.

I ORDERED THE WRONG BRACKET

I needed bracket for DR970X 2ch LTE and ordered what looked like the best fit--in that I couldn't find a non-tamper proof on website. Then I later ordered the obvious tamper proof and found it is not carried anymore. They sent me what I ordered (non-tamper proof) and found out they don't give refunds on accessories.

All previous experiences with BlackBoxMyCar have been fantastic and I will still give them my business. I attribute this error to me being "an older guy" and I just didn't connect the dots on the details.

Perfect oem fix

I was having my windshield replaced and tried to reuse the old mount. The tape messed up and the camera would fall all the time. I tried some other mounting tape for it and had the same issue. I contacted blackvuie and they informed me the oem mount has the tape machine pressed on and would fix the issue i was having.

They were 100% correct camera hasn't fallen since! Worth the $ or even just to have spares.

Works and fit as expected

There is really nothing to write about other than it fits perfectly. The mount for DR900S will fit fine with DR750S. You will just have to ignore the wording of "4K UHD" label. So if you find yourself needing the mount for DR750S, but it is sold out, just buy the mount for DR900S.

I did not pay attention to where it was shipped from "Canada", so it took awhile to reach Virginia USA. Otherwise the seller is prompt with tracking info all the way to delivery date.

Super fast shipping

Didn’t realize the shop was in Richmond, could have just gone picked it up. Was pricy for just the mount…but it works as advertised…and the shipping was very fast given that it’s literally a few km away…

Improvements to the black box my car camera software.

I purchased the black box my car as I was nearly in an accident and one week after that someone keyed my car. So I was after the ability to have g-shock and movement sensor to record when I wasn't in my car.
1- I did find the movement sensor on the camera was way to sensitive and even with the sensitivity turned all the way down to 1 I got 8 hours of video while park facing and empty field for 9 hours. This is something Blackboxmycar should look into as an update to software turning down the sensitivity on this sensor so it only registers something with a few feet of the car not clouds going by in the sky. I have since turned off this feature as if I park my car for anymore than 8 hours (a work day) I begin to record over the first footage, not to mention the draws on the car battery cause the camera to shut down within a day or two recording all that footage thanks to the multisafer.
2- The voice warning of the unit even when turned up to 100% is not loud enough to hear when the unit is placed behind the rear view mirror. might want to update this as well.
3- The video is amazing both front and rear cameras, the sales personnel might want to discuss with future customers that the 16gig card won't record enoug
