BlackVue ELITE 10-2CH: 4K Front and Rear Dash Cam

Choose the BlackVue ELITE 10-2CH for 4K front and rear road coverage at 30FPS. Both cameras use Sony STARVIS 2 sensors; front-only HDR balances changing light ahead.

The kit includes a 64GB microSD card, hardwiring cable, USB-C power cable and vehicle adapter. Built-in GPS and dual-band Wi-Fi help you find and save recordings. New BlackVue dash cams include a two-year warranty.

A 4K view in both directions

Record 4K front and rear at 30FPS through 146° diagonal lenses. The front camera has HDR to balance bright and dark areas; the rear records 4K without HDR. BlackVue’s Hong Kong video shows front-camera footage by day and night.

Prefer HDR on both views? The BlackVue ELITE 9 pairs a 4K front camera with a 2K HDR rear camera.

Compare the front and rear night views

Both cameras use Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensors. The nighttime sample shows their views on the same journey, with street lights and approaching headlights.

Readable detail varies with motion, light, distance and the condition of your lenses and glass. Online video adds compression. The optional BlackVue CPL-2 front filter reduces dashboard reflections; it can also darken low-light footage.

Save power between parked impacts

Power Saving mode waits in standby at less than 1mA at 12V, then wakes after an impact. Recording begins within about two seconds, with no pre-impact buffer. Power use rises while recording; connected accessories add their own draw.

Use the included hardwiring cable or a compatible battery installation. The optional BlackVue B-130A supplies parking power separately from your starter battery. Runtime depends on capacity, events, settings and temperature.

Keep the moments before an event

Choose Motion Detection for buffered recording with ten seconds before a supported event. Time Lapse instead records at 1FPS for an accelerated overview. Both use more power than Power Saving standby.

Set a parking timer and voltage cutoff for your vehicle. The camera operates from −20°C to 65°C; its separate thermal cutoff is about 75°C and does not extend that operating range.

Check recording at startup

The video demonstrates cold startup for driving, which differs from waking out of Power Saving standby. After installation, check the recording indicator and play a saved front and rear clip.

GPS and the G-sensor can tag impacts, acceleration, braking, cornering and speed events. Adjust sensitivity for your vehicle. The touch sensor starts a manual recording.

Choose the right parking-power connection

Mount the front camera near the mirror and the rear camera on clear glass. Route the supplied coaxial cable safely, avoiding obstructed views and rear defroster lines where possible. Check both recordings before securing the cable.

The supplied USB-C cable and vehicle adapter provide driving power only. Parking recording needs the included hardwiring cable or a compatible battery connection. See our dash cam installation guides for fuse selection and routing.

Use nearby Wi-Fi or remote Cloud access

Dual-band 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi connects your phone for live view, settings and downloads. Bluetooth helps with pairing; GPS and GLONASS log location. Nearby app access needs no cellular subscription.

Remote Cloud features need internet through a compatible hotspot or optional BlackVue CM100G LTE module. Match the module and SIM to your regional network. Hardware, data and paid Cloud plans are separate purchases.

For ongoing remote access, use a continuously powered recording mode. Power Saving sleeps between impacts; remote features depend on power, connectivity and settings.

Choose how much history to keep

A 64GB card is included; compatible BlackVue cards up to 1TB are supported. At the default High setting, BlackVue estimates two hours of dual-camera footage on 64GB or 34 hours 20 minutes on 1TB. Settings and parking activity change retention.

H.265 and H.264 save MP4 files. The highest H.265 setting reaches 60Mbps front plus 30Mbps rear, using storage faster. Loop recording replaces old files; up to 50 event files can be protected, but formatting erases them. Export important recordings. Browse our dash cam memory-card options and check BlackVue compatibility guidance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Elite 10 kit should I choose?

This standard kit records the road ahead and behind in 4K at 30FPS. For a 4K front camera plus an infrared interior camera, choose ELITE 10 CABIN. Their secondary cameras are model-specific and are not interchangeable.

Does the rear camera support HDR?

No. HDR is supported on the front camera only. If HDR on both road views matters more than 4K rear resolution, compare the ELITE 9 with its 2K rear camera.

What do I need for parking recording?

Use the included hardwiring cable or a compatible battery pack. The included USB-C cable and vehicle adapter do not support parking mode. Fuse connections depend on your vehicle.

Which parking mode captures activity before an impact?

Motion Detection supports buffered event recording. Power Saving has no pre-impact buffer: it wakes after an impact and starts recording within about two seconds. Time Lapse provides a continuous 1FPS overview.

How long will it record while parked?

There is no fixed runtime. Battery capacity, cutoff settings, temperature, recording mode and detected events determine how long it runs. The below-1mA figure applies only to Power Saving standby, not active recording.

Do I need a subscription to use the app?

No cellular subscription is needed for nearby Wi-Fi viewing, settings and downloads. Remote Cloud access needs internet at the camera, a BlackVue account and an appropriate service plan. Cellular access also needs a compatible module or hotspot and data service.

How much footage fits on the included card?

The included 64GB card holds about two hours of dual-camera footage at BlackVue’s default High setting. Higher bitrates reduce that estimate. The supported 1TB maximum is not the included capacity.

Should I use H.265 or H.264?

H.265 supports the highest front bitrate. H.264 is available for playback compatibility. Try a downloaded clip on your phone or computer before choosing.

Are protected event files permanent?

No. Up to 50 event files can be protected from normal overwrite, but formatting deletes them. Keep a separate backup of important footage.

Can it keep recording in extreme heat?

It may stop to protect itself. The operating range ends at 65°C; the approximately 75°C thermal cutoff is not a continuous-use rating.

What warranty comes with this kit?

This new BlackVue dash cam has a two-year manufacturer warranty. Refurbished dash cams have a separate 12-month warranty policy.
