Is the rear camera an infrared cabin camera?
No. This kit supplies a standard rear-road camera. It is distinct from the DR900X-2CH IR Plus and DMS configurations; aim this rear camera through the rear window.
What do I need for parking recording?
Use the included hardwiring cable with a suitable installation and configure voltage and timer cutoffs. For a separate parking power reserve, we recommend our PowerCell 8 with a compatible BlackVue output cable. Recording duration depends on available power, activity, settings and temperature.
How does it enter parking mode?
A correctly installed hardwiring cable uses the ACC signal. With another maintained power source, the G-sensor can switch to parking mode after the vehicle is stationary for five minutes. A switched cigarette-lighter outlet normally loses power with the ignition.
Which parking mode should I choose?
Choose motion-and-impact detection to save detected activity, or 1FPS time lapse for a condensed record. Time lapse saves a normal-speed event if an impact is detected. Check that rear recording in parking mode is enabled if you want both views.
Does a 4K camera require a 4K phone?
You can copy recordings for playback on compatible devices, but high-bitrate footage may be difficult to stream on older phones. Try the app’s Quick Playback option or copy the file before viewing. Frame rate may vary during Wi-Fi streaming.
Which card is included, and can locked clips be lost?
A microSD card and reader are included; contact us to confirm its capacity before ordering. Compatible cards up to 256GB are supported. Export important clips before changing time or image-quality settings, which can format the card, including locked files.
