The VIOFO WM1 was a compact, screen-free 2K dash cam built for discreet front-only recording. Its Wi-Fi app connection, GPS and voice notifications made it simple to use without an onboard display.

Designed to be Discreet
Offering a front-only camera system, the WM1 is built with a screenless tubular design with a space-saving length of only 3.87 inches, 1.21-inch height, and 1.04-inch for its total width - somehow close to the size of a 12V car charger! Therefore, it won’t obstruct your vision and is barely noticeable from the outside of your vehicle, greatly reducing the chances of theft. It also fits all types of vehicles!
Furthermore, the WM1 has a 60-degree rotatable camera mount attached to the back of the dash cam, which saves space when compared to dash cams with top mounts. This improved design enables easier hidden installation as well as multiple angles to suit your needs, allowing for an optimal viewing angle in a variety of mounting positions and vehicles.
The larger emergency lock button on the WM1 also allows the user to quickly lock the file at the scene, providing evidence for insurance claims and traffic disputes.
Front Only, 2K QHD
Despite its small size, the VIOFO WM1 is capable of capturing 2K QHD @ 30 frames per second. In terms of field of view, the single-camera covers a 135-degree angle, with no rear camera option available.
Ensuring high quality footage, the WM1 sports a 1/2.8-inch Sony STARVIS IMX335 image sensor. This also includes Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology that works best when balancing light and exposure.
Built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
When it comes to connectivity, the VIOFO WM1 also boasts built-in Wi-Fi. Its 2.4GHz connection allows for simple footage transfer and viewing, as well as changing dash cam settings via the VIOFO smartphone app.
In the event of an accident or impact, drivers can use the VIOFO app to quickly view, playback recorded videos as desired, and download or share video instantly.
Integrated GPS Module
Aside from built-in Wi-Fi, the WM1 also comes with a built-in GPS. When playing back the video on the VIOFO App or computer, the GPS Logger on the WM1 provides detailed location, speed, and time data of the vehicle.
Automatic Emergency Lock
When triggered by the built-in G-sensor, the WM1 can detect a sudden collision or crash and lock the footage to prevent it from being overwritten, which is useful for reviewing footage and knowing what really happened even when your car is unattended.
Voice Notification
Similar to the new A139 Pro dash cam, the WM1 also includes intelligent voice notification, which acts as your personal assistant, informing you of dash cam events such as video protection, changes, and memory card errors. Say goodbye to annoying beeping sounds!
