In response to the extreme flooding in southern British Columbia, the province has extended its state of emergency to December 14. Many families have been displaced from their homes to escape the waters. Transportation routes and highways have been disrupted, challenging supply chains and family connections for the holidays. Farmers have also been particularly hit hard with thousands of animals and many more acres of crop lost. Many left wondering how they will recover.
