BlackVue DR400G-HD Review

- Continuous loop recording
- Built in G-Sensor and event recording
- Parking mode and motion detection
- Easy to use
The DR400G-HD records at 1080P at 30FPS. It has a 2MP CMOS sensor, and comes with some very special features. It comes with two modes of recording, normal and event. In normal recording, the DR400G-HD continuously records, and loops arond when it reaches the end of the memory provided from the SD card. In the case of an accident or any impacts, G-sensors inside the dashcam will be triggered, causing the DR400G-HD to go into "event recording". During event recording, everything is stored separately, and will be in a folder specific for any impacts/accidents so it does not get overwritten by accident. The DR400G-HD also has a parking mode by motion detection, which allows for recording when the car is hardwired and ignition is turned off.
The design of the DR400G-HD is very nice and sleek. It is very slim in design, with a nice grey finish. Very premium look and feel.
The DR400G-HD is known for its overheating issue, which has been fixed a long time ago. All products after the DR400G-HD by BlackVue has no overheating issues at all.
