Unleash the Power of 4K + Built-in LTE: The BlackVue DR970X-2CH LTE is Here!

If you love BlackVue dash cams, you would know that two of the South Korean brand’s sought-after models are the BlackVue DR900X-2CH Plus and the DR750X-2CH LTE Plus.

Both are popular for different reasons - the DR900X Plus offers the only 4K UHD recording available from BlackVue, while the DR750X-2CH LTE Plus is the only premium dash cam that provides always-on internet connectivity. We don’t blame you if you’re having trouble choosing between the DR900X Plus’ high-quality videos and the DR750X-2CH LTE Plus’ built-in LTE - as both are desirable features in a premium dash cam.

But what if we tell you that soon, you won’t have to make a compromise between the two? Hello BlackVue DR970X-2CH LTE.

True 4K UHD Video with Upgraded Processor

In terms of capturing videos, the DR970X-2CH LTE records 4K UHD @ 30fps for its front, Full HD @ 30fps for the rear camera, powered by the 8MP and 2.1 MP Sony STARVIS sensors respectively - which is an ultra upgrade from the DR750X-2CH Plus’ Full HD 1080p resolution.

Similar to the DR970X-2CH model, the all-new DR970X-2CH LTE is fitted with the same image sensor and lens as the DR900X-2CH Plus. However, the new DR970X series has been improved with a Sigmastar CPU and a new image processor with ISP tuning, providing better white balance, dynamic range, and video contrast in bright light conditions.

Touch Sensor

Apart from the new image processor, the next major improvement goes to the dash cam’s proximity sensor. Proximity sensors detect the presence of nearby objects without making physical contact, which are sometimes triggered by hanging air fresheners or rays of light coming in your car unintentionally due to sensitivity.

To avoid these, and for accurate detection, BlackVue upgraded the proximity sensor to a touch sensor, avoiding unintentional motion detection to the dash cam, and simplifying the confirmation of event recording triggers.

More Discreet, Sleeker Design

Aesthetically, the DR970X series has the same form factor as the DR750X-2CH LTE Plus, although the DR970X-2CH LTE now has a Matte Black casing instead of Silver, making the dash cam’s overall design more sleek and premium.

BlackVue Cloud at Your Fingertips with Built-in LTE Connectivity

Everything you need in a premium dash cam is already well built in the BlackVue DR970X-2CH LTE: 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and now, 4G LTE Connectivity!

This saves you from having inconveniences connecting to the internet, especially now that you no longer have to use the CM100 LTE module that powers up previous BlackVue models.

Right away, you can access and make the most of your BlackVue Cloud Features including Remote Live View, Remote Playback and Backup, Push Notifications, Live Event Upload, and Driving Reports.

To activate, all you need is a BlackVue SIM Card, which is included in every DR970X-2CH Plus Package, as well as 1GB of free data for the first month. Moreover, BlackVue's nano SIM can support AT&T and T-Mobile networks in the United States, as well as Bell, Rogers, and Telus networks in Canada.

Instant Mobile Hotspot for You and Your Passengers

And it’s not only you who could benefit from the built-in LTE connectivity in this dash cam. Similar to the DR750X-2CH LTE Plus, the all-new BlackVue DR970X-2CH LTE can transform itself to an instant mobile hotspot that can connect up to five different devices!

Let’s say you’re on the road and your passengers need to connect to the internet - but unfortunately have no data. With the BlackVue DR970X-2CH LTE’s hotspot connectivity feature, you can instantly get your laptop, tablets, and gaming consoles connected to the internet.

Protection at Max with Advanced Parking Modes

Like other BlackVue models, the BlackVue DR970X-2CH LTE also provides an added layer of security with Intelligent Parking Mode, Impact and Motion Detection and Time Lapse Recording features. It also features built-in voltage monitoring, so this can be hardwired to your vehicle’s electrical system while protecting the battery against depletion.

A Stealthy Camera that Offers the Best of Both Worlds

Now, customers won’t have to choose between image quality and Cloud capability, as the DR970X-2CH LTE offers the best of both worlds in a compact package. Two-channel. 4K UHD. Advanced Parking Modes. LTE. Cloud. What more can you ask for?

Oh, probably the official launch of this dash cam. Don’t worry, as BlackVue already announced that this model, along with the BlackVue DR970X-1CH and 2CH systems, will be out in the market in Spring 2023! So watch out as we roll out more updates and give the best deals on the BlackVue DR970X-2CH LTE for you!
