We use trackers to keep track of a fleet of small boats on a small private lake, so we know where they are and/or if a guest is lost. This tracker is a great addition to our collections. It is waterproof, which is helpful being on a boat in case it gets splashed. It is very easy to connect - just turn it on, turn on the Find My app on the iPhone, select other item, and it finds it almost instantly. Then you can name the tracker and assign an icon if desired, and you're good to go. These would also work great for luggage, purses, pets, keys, or other things that are easy to lose track of. This works exactly as expected.
I bought these for my husband to put on the quad and utility trailer in case of theft while out in the bush. They work just OK. The location doesn't update when you want it to, it seems like it updates every hour or so and the location isn't always precise. There's been a few times where it was shown a few kilometers away from where it actually is. I've had them for just over a week and the battery is already showing at half on one of them. I guess for the price, they're ok, but I won't be buying these again. I actually with I could return them as I feel like I just wasted almost $70. I also don't like that it notifies other phones when they're around, which defeats the purpose of using them in case of theft as it alerts the thief. I understand the security purpose of that though for people using them to follow potential victims of crime so I'll need to look for something else.
Worked just as well as the more expensive Apple product. No issues setting up.
My daughter was worried about leaving a bag behind after sports practice. So, we got this and hooked it to the inside of the bag. It works great. We can look up the location anytime via the Apple Find My feature and the accuracy is strong enough to know what side of the gym the bag might be on, not just that it's in the building. My daughter does not carry a phone, but so far we've had no trouble with the Reyke Key Finder being tracked and located, likely because a lot of other people with phones walk by. It was easy to set up, looks sleek and small, and seems to work great for our purposes -- at about half the price as an original airtag.
I love these Startags for tracking my valuables. They are easy to hide unlike the AirTags that have the chrome mirror finish on one side. I use these on my E Bike and they are almost impossible to detect. They work amazingly well with the “Find My” app on my iPhone. They will play a sound or notify me when they show up in range. The peace of mind they give you is worth the price all day long. If you want to keep track of something they might end up going missing or missing this is for you. I’m going to stick one in my golf clubs too.
I highly recommend them.
