The DR970X retains the same camera lens and 8MP CMOS image sensor as its predecessors, but now with upgraded the CPU and image processing software to deliver superb day and nighttime 4K UHD video of the front and 1080p Full HD of the rear of your car.

Thanks to the SigmaStar CPU and advanced image processing software, there is less motion blur and better highlight detail, resulting in a crisp and clear video.

DR 970x

BBMC service was good. The camera features mostly don’t work. WiFi won’t hold longer than 10 seconds, subsequently I can’t upgrade the firmware or view recordings. I activated the Blackvue SIM card but it doesn’t work. Changing the clock also doesn’t work, it only allows for on-the-hour setting. Between the DR900s and this one I’ve been grifted for over $1200.
