Very easy to install.

I would suggest this device was an excellent choice. I wanted a higher end device that was did not obstruct driver's vision and was not obvious to casual pedestrian. Extremely easy to install and move from vehicle to vehicle. I have hardwired device connection in two vehicles. I did the install in both vehicles myself. So far I am very pleased with the choice.

The Dash Cam is very easy the install. Package comes with kits that help you put the wire in the trim. Best option for my is the wire is a USB plug, it work great on the Ford Vehicle since their 12V plug is constantly on.
Shipping is very fast.

Great customer service from Katrina and excellent installation of a front and rear dashcam. It is a COVID safe experience and the quality of the install is amazing. Absolutely the go-to for all your dashcam and scanner/detector needs, I highly recommend them.

Great good customer service and product

I purchased the Thinkware U1000 with neolink battery and its a really good device. The customer service from Terence was great. He answered all my questions before I purchased the unit. The install was fairly straight forward on my Subaru Ascent. I installed the dash cam and neolink as instructed but ran into an issue with the fuse adapter I purchased via Blackboxmycar. The mini fuses fit in one of the 2 empty slots of the adapter. I had to pry the female end of the fuse receptacle to firmly push the second mini fuse in. The adapter itself didn't fit into the fuse panel. I had to grind down the plastic surrounding the bare metal receptacles. Ended up spending an extra hour on Jerry rigging the adapters I bought. Besides that, the rest of the install was fairly spot on. The unit works as advertise. I definitely recommend it.

Excellent customer service. Customer service was polite, honest, friendly and courteous. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to buy a dash cam. Service is wonderful.

Quality product with excellent video capture

Bought this unit (front and rear cameras) for my new LS500. Had it professionally installed. Integrated perfectly with my car. Video capture is excellent. Manual mode is easy to use, and I love the fact that it captures the ten seconds before you initiate manual recording. Recommend upgrading to 128G microSD card. Bought two quality cards (look for 4K video recording capability) at Costco for $49. Nice to have a backup card.

Noticed some remarks about the unit being too "chatty." Announcements are easy to disable- turn volume to zero if you don't like them.

On a side note, I loved the unit so much I was going to buy another for the wife's car. But in 2 weeks, the price jumped $100. Guess I'll wait a while to purchase the second one.

Final side note- tried uploading video from the unit, but even a 7 second clip was too big for Blackboxmycar's website. Mild irony, soliciting video but I can't upload any!

Easy to use

I bought this along with Cellink Neo battery pack. I use it to charge the Cellink before I install it to the vehicle. It’s also good use if you want to charge the battery while off the vehicle.

A129 Plus Duo Great Value Easy to Use

Blackboxmycar (BBMC) filled my order quickly as promised. I pre-ordered and they beat estimated date. My previous Cam I bought is a ThinkWare, which I've had for almost 3 yrs (also from Blackboxmycart). It is great. However I wanted a more budget friendly unit for my second car. BBMC recommended this one. I insisted on dual channel. Their suggestion was great4. It is easy to use and the WiFi link to view videos and make setting changes is easy button push. The video quality looks good but I have not had it long enough to know what it will do in all light conditions. From what I can see it looks like it can record license plate numbers clearly.

CON: The cable for rear camera is too short. It looks like a Mini USB but it is proprietary, not a standard cable and not compatitable. Also apparently it is not comparable even cables for other models in their product line. Also being a new model they dont have a long cable available yet. They should Supply a cable standard that's about 5 to 6 ft longer.

Just a little suggestion.

I had a little issue with the parking mode on my camera with the hard wire kit hooked, where it wouldn't recognize if the ignition was on or off. I ended up updating it manually, since the app was telling me everything was up to date. That fixed my issue, but it would be nice if the camera came out of the box with the latest update. Other then that everything else was great.

Wanted a good camera quality because I have 70% tint on my windshield and 5% tint in the back. I accidentally ran over a skunk and caught it on my camera.

Surprisingly good

After a lifetime of seeing such terrible dashcams and dashcam quailty, it unbelievable to see such a step forward. Its no where near as user friendly as a "ring" camera or anything, but undoubtedly this is the best dashcam available today. The technology is a bit behind in user friendliness but its easy enough to connect and download footage withought fumbling with the SD card, and the quality of the footage is incredible. Definitely a must buy until something better inevitably releases.

Great Product

I bought this to power my Thinkware dash cam so I don’t have to use my main car battery. Very slick in design and it works really well. Let your dash cam rolling while on parking mode without draining your car battery.

Exactly what i need!

I had my rear windshield tinted and the rear camera was detached from the glass. I bought some 3M "Command" double sided tape from Walmart but as I'm about to use it, I realized the hassle of trimming it to fit with my rear camera. That's when i thought of Blackboxmycar.ca to see if there is an Oem tape available for my issue. I dropped by the store the following day to purchase the Thinkware Rear Camera Mounting Tape and used it right away. Exactly what i needed and am happy with my purchase.

add a fuse

good product. 20 am fuses are provided. However, you should downgrade your fuse size to match or be under the one your taping in to. Maybe ask for the right size fuses before you buy. very tight fit but still able to get them in place
