Shipping and Payment Information
We try our best to fulfill and ship out all orders placed before 2:30PM (Pacific Standard Time) on the same business day. If an order is processed after 2:30PM or over the weekend, it will be shipped out on the next business day.
- All orders (unless via postage or otherwise stated in the shopping cart by the customer) are signature-delivery required.
- Fees associated with declined deliveries will be the responsibility of the customer.
- As per our terms of service, we reserve the right to cancel/refund any order at our discretion.
Estimated Delivery Times & Rates
Foreign customers may be subject to an international service assessment fee depending on their credit card company policies. This fee is strictly charged and processed by the credit card company and not by BlackboxMyCar in any means. If you see this charge on your credit statement, please contact your credit card company who may be able to waive the fee.
Foreign customers may also be subject to custom import taxes, which are charged by the government that the package is being shipped to. Please refer to your country's import custom duties/taxes information for a clearer description of these charges.
Returns / Exchanges
We fully stand behind our products and are absolutely confident that they will meet and exceed your highest expectations. However, within 30 days of purchase, if you are unhappy with your unit or if you simply wanted to try out a dashcam, we will refund your money! Please kindly note that we do deduct a return processing fee per the following: $20 for all transactions (including products that have free shipping) and $35 for express shipped orders, per product. We do offer a prepaid shipping label for warranty claims of units that are defective within 7 days of delivery date. - Accessories (any items that are not dashcams or battery packs) are final sale.
- Before moving forward with issuing a return, we recommend contacting us to see if there are alternative solutions to your problem first.
- Should a return be missing pieces, unless discussed we will deduct from the refund accordingly.
Please note: We do not warranty or provide after-sales support for anyone who did not purchase their device from BlackboxMyCar, please refer to this post here for clarification. We do not manufacture any dash cams sold on amazon or any devices labelled as "Black Box". It is unfortunate that this Amazon vendor is able to continue using our hard earned reputation to garner sales. We encourage potential customers to purchase from authorized dealers such as ourselves
Warranty Exchange - How The Process Works
As North America's largest dashcam distributor, we go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. We have created this simple graphic below for customers to understand how our warranty procedure works, and how our services compare to major retailers out there in the market. Customer service is our top priority, so when you have an issue, it's our issue too. *BlackboxMyCar is not responsible for any lost packages that are sent to us*
Please note: we are only able to provide warranty services for customers within Canada and the United States (ship forwarding companies within these countries will qualify for warranty). International customers will have all customer and technical support available via email, phone call, live chat, etc.
***Advanced RMA is an option for customers who want to exchange/upgrade their dashcam without having to be without a dashcam (shipping time back and forth). Customers simply have to pay a deposit for the additional unit, and we will refund the amount as soon as the unit being exchanged/upgraded is sent to us. Please note there is a $10 non-refundable service fee for this service.***
Dash Cams / Battery Packs
We pride ourselves in being able to provide hassle-free warranty services and returns. All of our dash cams are covered by a 1-year limited warranty (30 days for refurbished and clearance items, 90 days for open-box items & 6 months for SD cards). In the case of any malfunctions and defects, we would gladly warranty this device for you.
NOTE: We do not provide warranty on G1W dash cams purchased through Amazon.com or anywhere besides BlackboxMyCar.
- 90 day warranty
- Applicable to manufacturer defects, not user-generated problems or physical damage
- Car accessories such as headlights, phone mounts, and air fresheners are final sale
Not Covered Under Warranty
- Damage caused by accident, abuse, improper installation, water damage, and theft
- Any costs related to removing or reinstalling the product
- Any product that has been altered, defaced, or had the serial number removed
- Any product that was not purchased from BlackboxMyCar
Out of Warranty Repairs
With dash cams that are out of warranty, because we deal directly with the manufacturers unlike the majority of online vendors, we can offer repair services at a specified fee. Feel free to contact us if you are looking for a quote for your dash cam repair even if the unit was not purchased from us.
