Features

The DR530W-2CH Lite is a very interesting device.  Essentially, it is the little brother of the DR550.  The Lite name is a very accurate portrayal of the device, as it is essentially a Light version of the DR550.  Instead of recording in 1080P, the DR530 records in 720P front and back.  It comes with all the features you would want, such as WiFi to stream your videos, as well as parking mode and g-sensors.  WIth that being said, it doesn't come with a GPS.  I really liked this device, because it cut costs by taking out features that weren't absolutely essential.  It took the video quality down to 720P, which is still good enough, as well as taking out the GPS which usually drives up cost.  It can be argued that the WiFi can be taken out as well, but there were a few times I took advantage of the function, and was glad it was there.

Design

Much like the DR550 and all other BlackVue cameras we have come to love, the DR530W-2CH Lite looks sleek and subtle.  Essentially the DR530 looks exactly like its bigger brother, with a slim tube-like structure, which is able to blend into interiors perfectly.  As always, there is nothing negative to say about the design of the unit.  Though I feel like there can be some changes made as BlackVue has been essentially using the same design for years, I don't see why they should change up a great formula.

Flaws

The DR530 is not without its flaws.  In general, I really like the device, but if there is one thing, there could definitely be improvement in the night-time recording capabilities.  The night-time capabilities are pretty average, and could definitely use some upgrades.
