Recently installed, so far so good. A couple points though. I find it kind of chatty as it starts up. Wish that could be turned off and I have to manually connect to my phone via wifi. Kinda wish it would do it automatically. Otherwise I like the sleekness of the unit. It blends nicely into my F350.

Found this site while trying to decide which dashcam to buy. Settled on the U1000 after watching the reviews and detailed install guide, figured anybody who puts in that much work to help ppl get it right is worth doing business with. Install went off without a hitch. Without that info I would have had to find someone local to do the installation.

This product has absolutely amazing video quality and sound, stability, easy installation, everything. Great night vision, plenty of memory...I literally could not be any happier with my purchase. If I had to say anything about it, I would say I wish the installation manual covered the hardwire kit more. That left me a little confused and had to go online to get some answers, but other than that, you literally cannot get a better camera. Front or rear. Thank you all so much!!!

I absolutely love the picture quality of this BlackVue DR900X camera. Even at night with my dim headlights, I can see things I didn't expect. I also love the cloud features how it'll upload a video every time it senses movement. I'm still tweaking the sensitivity settings for my Wrangler so that I don't get so many alerts in parking mode. Every time I enter and exit the vehicle, it trips the alert and uploads/saves a video. I'm sure I'll get it set to my liking here in time. The CM100 LTE Module works great with Google Fi and a data-only sim.

I need a good dash cam to also have cellular coverage, and have a very small footprint. ie not needing a MIFI adapter. the DR750 LTE model from Blackvue fit the bill easily. this was easily installed in my car, using blackboxmycar's videos and various FAQ's. Ordering online, I was really glad the unit arrived well package, and I was ready to start installing without any worries.

First off: Update your firmware! I was having a lot of issues with the unit crashing and losing connection to the rear cam. I talked to BlackBoxMyCar and they suggested the firmware and it fixed everything. It's working now with the hardwire kit and CPL filter.
Otherwise, I'm happy with the dashcam. Reason for 4 stars is because the location of the rear cam plug and included straight jack made it not possible to mount flush with the top of my windscreen.

Work good, fuse in #1 position hard to install, tight fit. Had to open clip a bit with small slot driver. Cover will not fit back on fuse box in Toyota 86 gt. No real issue as box in upper foot well area. Thanks again for ALL your help.

Overall the camera is great does exactly what I wanted. The biggest issue is the wifi range is very short less than 6ft.

Customer Service was great, they answer most of all the questions I need.
Product is good, I think the video quality is good and another foot of cable for the battery power hardwire kit would be nice, I drive a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited and the only place to put the battery was under the driver side backseat and I had barely enough cable with no slack.
The mobile app is simple but it could use a little more details on some of the settings and if they could add bluetooth connection to review videos that would free up my WiFi connection from my mobile phone.

My camera installation was done in June. Two months later, my rear camera got loose and could not record when driving. In late September, I approached Blackbox and they helped me fixed it. The plug- in portion of the add-a-fuse kit was too thick to fit in the fuse socket. Holding an existing fuse against the plug-in showed it was slightly thicker. I was able to shave down the thickness with a utility knife then it fit fine.

This is my 4th thinkware dashcam from blackboxmycar and my second U1000. Reliable, quality built, and user friendly interface with thinkware's app. If you're looking for a top performing dash cam, I would recommend this one. Only thing I would like to see improved for future models would be its size. It' is the largest module in the Thinkware lineup and prefer the low profile look of my F800 pro.

I have not set it up yet, saving up enough money to buy the battery which is really expensive. But I did open the box to get a first impression and a feel of it. It looks amazing and well built, now I understand why it is rated the best on the market. I don’t want to set it up without the battery so I will be waiting for the battery to go on sale on Christmas or something. But really good first impression and will provide further details. 👌🏾

Regarding my Essential BlackboxMyCar Install Package, when delivered, I found a used part and wrong size add a fuse. I was promised the correct low profile add a fuse to be sent when I received my battery, yet when I received it, it was not included in the order. When I called back I was offered a new part to be sent but declined since I went to the local auto parts store and picked it up. I requested a refund which was excepted so waiting for it. Grayson in customer service was very helpful so although there was some discrepancy with the order, I am very pleased with the assistance in installation and technical support I received. BlackBoxyCar still gets a thumbs up from me!
