With advanced parking mode technology, your dash cam protects your car, recording videos when it detects movement or impact, even when you're not there. Buffered recording even includes the few seconds before and after the triggered event, so you get the complete picture. Time Lapse in Parking Mode records footage at 2FPS, enabling the dash cam to record longer periods of parking surveillance continuously without increasing power consumption.

With Energy Saving Mode the FA200 goes on standby when entering Parking Surveillance mode and wakes up to record events triggered by impacts only. This allows the dash cam to conserve energy to give you a longer Parking Surveillance mode.

IROAD OBD-II Power Cable included to unlock parking surveillance out-of-the-box.

Instead of using a hardwire kit to connect to the vehicle’s fusebox, which can sometimes be quite tedious and difficult for a first-timer or someone not too mechanically-inclined, the OBD power cable connects to the OBD port which is almost always found on the driver’s side near and around the steering wheel column.

Once plugged in, the IROAD OBD cable provides power to the dash cam both when the vehicle is on and when the vehicle is off, thus enabling parking-mode recording.

Use the built-in Wi-Fi and free Thinkware mobile app to position your dash cam, review videos, and customize your settings. The Thinkware mobile app features various recording modes, for you to navigate and configure your dash cam.

Alternatively, you can review your footage on a compatible Windows or Mac OS computer. With the Thinkware desktop viewer, you can also conveniently download the recordings for sharing and review, view the GPS data (speed, time, and location) embedded into your video and configure all dash cam settings from easy-to-use software.
