I received my Blackvue DR900S-1CH on Thursday, 10 January 2019, via UPS, and I installed it in my truck the next morning. Installation was a breeze, and the dashcam worked like a charm from the getgo. The only problem I had was the size of the printing in the Blackvue's Quick Start Guide as well as the SSID, password, and serial number printed on the dashcam's label. I am 70 years old, and even with my best glasses, I still needed a magnifying glass to read these items. That's my problem, not yours. My iPhone 8+ also did not want to read the QR code at first, but it did on the second attempt. I have downloaded the owner's manual, viewer software, and the latest firmware from the Blackvue website to my desktop. Piece of cake. The manual is easy to read and follow and was quite helpful. The viewer software is head and shoulders above what was provided with my previous dashcam. The real test of the dashcam is the quality of its videos, and they are quite good. The field of view is much larger than my previous dashcam, and the 4K videos (extreme) are clear, crisp, and colorful. And, yes, the DR900S-1CH has no trouble reading license plates, which my previous dashcam could not do. Bottom Line: I definitely got my money's worth by buying the Blackvue dashcam. My buying experience with BlackboxMyCar.com was also first rate. I have sent a couple of emails to the store and received responses very quickly (thank you, Katrina).
