Our customer who has the BlackSys CH-100B in their Kia Sedona minivan was hit and run on Friday, July 29 2016. Earlier this year, the same customer's car had already been hit by a Lexus driver while parked but that driver had come back to leave a note. The driver in the following video however decided to speed off and leave the scene of the accident. Our customer is an elderly Korean couple who reached out to us for help in tracking down the suspect as they aren't particularly tech savvy and English is not their first language.
The White Dodge Challenger has some unique features that may help to identify it and seems to be the Challenger R/T Classic model. The features on the Classic trim that you can see in the footage include: R/T side stripes, chrome fuel filler cap, 20" chrome wheels, Challenger script fender badge, HID Headlights, and a body colour lip spoiler. In addition, the suspect vehicle may have a window tint on both front and rear side windows. Dodge Challenger experts have reported that this is a 2009-2010 model year Challenger based on the lower grille design.
Any information that can lead to the apprehension of this hit and run suspect will be awarded with a FREE Blackvue dashcam from us here at www.BlackboxMyCar.com
